Your walk-in service was excellent, I would even say legendary. I was received within minutes of arriving, the oil change and accompanying overall check completed in less than 30 minutes and everything was explained in detail. However when I called to make an appointment for an oil change, the Service Representative cave me a appointment 4 days out, but said I could come in and wait for the possibility of a walk-in. She did not explain that "walk-in" meant a separate process in a different building which strictly operated on a first-come first served basis. This needs to be clarified so your customers can properly understand this. Not your fault, but the GMC computer generated requirement for oil changes (averaging every 5,000 miles) is patently and ridiculously short considering that expensive quality all synthetic oil is used. I only follow this to maintain my drive train warranty, but once that is up I will switch to Mobil 1 which today recommends every 20,000 miles for their premium oil, and I have used it for years. Anyway, the "drive train warranty" has disappointed me. The car was failing to register it was in neutral, and was clearly going to leave my wife stranded because it has to be in neutral to start. This is a known defect on this model, acknowledged by GMC, as you have the MODIFIED wiring patch in stock. It should have been a recall, or at the very least a totally free installation. Instead it was $500, and after complaining I was given a $50 discount. Sincerely, Farrell Hope
